In the 1970’s a renegade Italian wine maker created the first Super Tuscan by breaking the rules. He shocked the industry by blending Sangiovese-the holy grail of Italian wines-with the French Cabernet. Nello joins the creative blending rebellion each year with a new Super Tuscan style fusion of wine. His 2019 unites Estate Barbera, Sangiovese, and Merlot for a surprising, well balanced rule bender.
